To let go isn't to forget, not to think about, or ignore. It doesn't leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret. Letting go isn't about winning or losing. It's not about pride and it's not about how you appear, and it's not obsessing or dwelling on the past. Letting go isn't blocking memories or thinking sad thoughts, and doesn't leave emptiness, hurt, or sadness. It's not about giving in or giving up. Letting go isn't about loss and it's not about defeat. To let go is to cherish the memories, but to overcome and move on. It is having an open mind confidence in the future. Letting go is learning and experiencing and growing. To let go is to be thankful for the experiences that made you laugh, made you cry, and made you grow. It's about all that you have, all that you had, and all that you will soon gain. Letting go is having the courage to accept change, and the strength to keep moving. Letting go is growing up. Halloween 2010 :)
Heute war ich Trick or Treating mit David, seiner Freundin Shelby, Phyllis, Ali und Becky.
Fast jedes Haus ist dekoriert und es stehen Süßigkeiten vor der Tür, oder die Leute kommen raus und geben einem die Süßigkeiten. In Deutschland ist jeder total abgenervt sobald Kinder an der Tür klingeln*lach*
Ich habe mich zwar ein bisschen zu alt gefühlt um an die Tür zu gehen, aber als es dann dunkler wurde bin ich einfach mit und mir war es egal :D
Außerdem sah ich in dem Pumpkin-Kostüm bestimmt nicht aus wie 17 :D :D
Dawn hat es mir in die Hand gedrückt und ich fands erst gar nicht toll, aber dann war ich doch froh das ich auch verkleidet war, weil jeder da maskiert rumgelaufen ist.
Ich werde wohl aufjedenfall mit Steven nach Amerika ziehen müssen, weil ich nicht will das unsere Kinder das später verpassen, denn es hat echt jede Menge Spaß gemacht und es ist viel Süßes dabei rumgekommen :D
Viele Leute haben dann aber auch manchmal so aus Spaß gefragt ob wir nicht schon zu alt wären und wir haben einfach mit: 'You're never too old to get free candy' geantwortet :D
Da ist ja auch was dran und so hab ich morgen wenigstens was zu schnuggeln wenn ich im Unterricht sitze und mich langweile :D
